SMS vocabulary program

How consent is collected

Current as of August 2, 2026

Fresa collects consent verbally and in person. There is no website sign-up form and no opt-in keyword.

Who receives messages

Exactly one recipient receives Fresa messages: a child in the operator's own household. Fresa is not a public service. Another number cannot receive messages unless the operator edits the application configuration by hand.

How agreement was obtained

Before any message was sent, the recipient agreed in person during a conversation with the operator. Consent was given directly for the Fresa vocabulary trainer and was not part of another agreement.

There is no web form, purchased list, or keyword opt-in. Fresa does not claim that any of those sign-up methods exist.

What the recipient was told

The operator explained:

  • that messages contain vocabulary questions, reminders, answer feedback, example sentences, and occasional milestone encouragement;
  • that Fresa may send up to 7 messages per day between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM America/New_York;
  • that message and data rates may apply; and
  • that replying STOP stops messages immediately.

How the number was added

After the in-person agreement, the operator entered the recipient's mobile number by hand into the Fresa application configuration. No automated or public enrollment path exists.
